Mine keeps coming on but it isn't really low on coolant. Not on all the time. Is this a likely to be a fault with a sensor or a switch ? :)
-
Oh b*gger .......... turns out it was a little low on coolant after all !!!
-
Ah thats the problem...best try topping up

Easy fix problems are good :D

Keep an eye on the front of the water pump, if you are losing water its the pump that usually starts leaking
-
Thanks for that
It would appear that I do have a leak 'cos after only about 300 miles the light's on again ! It's due a service so I'll book it in tomorrow & get it all done together.
Landy's in for mot tomorrow too plus two lots of insurance & tax coming up in the first few months of 2009 - better start working overtime I guess
-
Well I do have a slight leak - but it's around a seal near a header tank & it may be repairable - fingers crossed 'cos a new radiator's coming in @ £500 +
I'm hoping some of you good people might be able to advise me of an alternative supplier at a better price if the worst comes to the worst !!

Try Lighthouse or Mansfield 4x4 or a local motor factors...just make 200% sure the rads for a RHD Jeep..

Thanks for that BJ
I tried Mansfield's site but they don't appear to do radiators. I can't find Lighthouse on the web - does anyone have an email addy ? Ta !
