hi
im new to all this i have a sportrak which i beleive has had the usual stuff done to it pro comp shocks etc
i went off roading in some forests etc with my uncle and found that i kept getting stuckin the mud my tyres did not clear very easy and they looked slick with all the mud on them. they look like all terrain tyres on 15inch rims
what would be the best tyres and cheapest to use i go mianly greenlaning and some pay and play and use the local forest whihci s used quite alot
ps i also have quite a big lift i 75 profile on there now

I bought some recip trail 205/75/15 muds to go on my samurai. Same size as sportrak?
Very good in mud, ok on tarmac, would recommend them to any one. Oh and there reasonably priced

i also have a sportrak and ive got 235/75/r15 on mine, its got no lift so i had to hack off the front mudguards and bumper end caps!hehe! as above recips are very good apparently although i have grizzly claws (dont get from bronco as they are out of business)! which are brilliant in the mud but not alot else although ive had no problems with them. i did see some dick sepek tyres in a recent LRO that looked gucci, but ive not heard anything about them yet
also insa turbo do some good tyres!!well worth checking out. :-k

If you've got a decent amount of lift, you probably get away with a 31" tyre, although you MAY have to fit some spacers.
Anyway where's the picture of this Monster!!!!!!! lets see em!

he sells spacers, wheels, tyres and he will tell you no crap! if you talk to him nice he might even try a few different tyres on your truck so you can choose.

Hi, my sportrak is running on Sahara insa turbo tyres 31 x 10.5 x 15 :D :D,
the only alteration we have done is add 2" extanded shackles on the rear, from bloodredoffroading and wound the front torsion bars to lift the front so it sits level.
Havent had to remove or alter front bumper at all or add spacers.

hi,i run 235x75x15 insa dakars fitted to eight spokes (about an inch more offset) on mine they are quiet on road and good offroad a good all round tyre realy.
-
Recip Trail tyres are v/good; fairly quiet on road, predicable handling, off road Green Sand or Wealden Clay they just keep going!
My son has them on his L/R 110 t/cab, and he says they are better all round than the SuperSwampers that pinched (and wore out) off my 110 county. He does a lot of lamping into the small hours and cann't afford to get stuck !
The only problem that we have had is the bead dressing failure due to running at low tyre pressure, and had to fit tubes to a couple, but that happens B.F.Goodrich M/Ts on the shoot L/R 90 anyway so its no real problem.
Just keep being NON-PC
