happy new year.
has any one coiled there p38, what are the pro`s and cons on this.
was it an easy job?????
thanks jon

The big con has to be the fact that you loose the Air Suspention. Why would anybody want to do that?
-
Why bother, the air suspension is rather good, But if you really want to change it then there are kits for this on the market.

Just did a google seach, have a read through this lot.

Still got those Arnott air springs for the P38 if anyone wants them.
-
Are they front or rears ?
Also how much
-
Rears, will add up to 3" travel. Pm if interested, I'll have to ask on the price though.
-
why convert? you can rebuild the whole system for less than a coil conversion relatively easily. Compressor rebuild & new mounts- £70, new airbags all round less than £250, valve block rebuild- £20, a few new hoses- a few quid.
fit some decent new shocks and the ride/handling is great, far better than a coiler with either a high CofG or little clearance
RRB- damn, thought you were selling classic arnotts. would have been very interested in them if i'd known :(
-
I wouldn't want my p38 any other way, I love the air suspension. If I were to buy another there is no way I would buy one that had been converted to coils.
Unless you use it off road all the time and need the extra hieght then keep the air
