A chap came in my mates workshop at the beginning of the week to see if he knew of anyone that could do something with it rather than scrap it.
He went and looked it over earlier in the week, we went today and took the pics.
Needs a bit of work, one of the outriggers has gone, the rear crossmember is in need of sorting out and the top of the bulkhead is a bit iffy but £100 cant be sniffed at :D
Should be dragging it up to ours next weekend to start stripping it down.

Well it, or rather he  , has arrived :D
Picked up on a flat bed this morning, followed back to the unit so we could have a little play with a battery and see what happens.
No brakes at all and the clutch is probably seized (well it has been standing for nearly 10 years).
Got the paperwork, he was demobbed in 1992, bought by one chap who played a few times then transferred it to his brother where it sat in his garden since this morning.
Tried with a battery, most electrics work, lights, fan etc. etc. no key with it so we had to bypass the ignition circuit.
Starter motor turned out to be u/s so thats off to be reconditioned on Monday.
Drained the fuel tanks, petrol most definitely was off! Got one tank cleaned up, got to do the drivers tank next and then the pipes etc.
On the shopping list so far...
Rear cross member
Two outriggers
Bulkhead top section
New brake pipes
Rebuild brakes
Recondition starter motor
Got to see what happens when we get the starter motor back, the engine turns on the handle though so fingers crossed we think it will be a runner :?
Pics on gallery
