Title: Will alloy wheel nuts fit on a series 2A

Can anyone tell me if alloy wheel nuts off a disco 1 will fit on a series 2A

Have you got Alloys and if so what are they? I note the Rangie 3 spoke alloy nuts have a different profile again to the ES 5 spokes on our Disco.

Unless you've spent a wad on alloys with humoungous centre holes then not many alloys will fit a IIa

Also depends if it's an early IIa or a late one as they had different threads / nut sizes.

if you fit wheel spacers from kenson 4x4 you can fit any of the 16" range to your motor ,plus better turning

Yes but with the warning re Insurance declarations and also the effect they will have on wheel bearings and swivel pins being worn out like theres no tomorrow. Personally I'd only fit them on a car they fit from scratch. I dare guess the spacers would cost as much as a set of wheels if they are any where near half decent.

If it's got FWH's they would have to be a mean spacer  :lol:
