Title: 'Pocket Headlamps'
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on January 22, 2005, 23:42:56
I was passing through Wakefield on the way home this afternoo.

Whilst near Sainsburys (on Ings Road) I saw a slightly out of the ordinary Discovery coming in the opposite direction.
As it drew closer it became apparant that it was a Tdi ('L' plate), but it had 'pocket headlamps' fitted!
They seemed to suit it, plus the removed front bumper (or possibly just end-caps - didn't get chance to properly look)

It also looked to be running a 2"suspension lift & 'decent rubber'

Oh, it was 'Woodcote Green' with a rather rusty NATO hitch.

Sorry no photos, I was driving the Mondeo.

Also saw a very nice 50th Anniversary 90 ('S947 ESC') in the Halfords car-park as we went past

As fitted to the Disco 2 / 04 model and the L322 Range Rover...  little round lights set into 'pockets' in the light cluster.
