Boo hiss...
The gearbox in Tigger went bang today :-(
Not happy.
Will be at Tixover still, but in a *very* non-offroad Range Rover
Sob
Maybe I will get round to doing the auto conversion that I've been considering now

bad luck. no chance of changing it by sunday???

If I had another gearbox I could... doesn't take too long to swap one.....
D'oh !

Woo Hoo !!
Tigger is back in the land of the living, with it's Auto box whirring away happily.
Off for it's first proper run tomorrow, heading up to the Mac 4x4 challenge.... I'll let you know how it goes..
Total job time was just under 3 days... total time elapsed.. over 4 weeks :-(
I think I need to be less busy :?

how much work did it involve tim?

Woo hooooo! Nice one Tim
Mud just wouldn't be the same without those pictures of a silver and black 90 everywhere!!! :P

As I say, the total time from driving in to driving out was just under 3 days. Main issues in the job were having to fabricate a new gearbox mount (the gearbox didn't have one with it)
All in all it was a reasonably straightforward job.
Took it for a nice spin today, up to Hereford to see the Mac 4x4 challenge boys on their way... runs very well, apart from a leak in the oil cooler pipe which managed to drip on the exhaust giving us a lovely cloud of smoke whenever we stopped
