Freaky ... never heard of these until saw a reference to them on a guys blog:

Very strange ... SWMBO's car radio picks up SW ... need to give it a scan around about the hour/half hour.

I've heard these on the SW receiver I have in the house.
You may not get them on the normal public broadcast frequencies, they are normally much higher up the spectrum.
Worth a go though.  :wink:

number stations are used by quite a few govenments
issuing instructions to various people from [secret agents] to
diplomatic personel to their miliitary and have been doing so
for many decades.

there are a few actual fan sites who after many years
of monitoring have lists of frequencys times and users
of the various systems.

try googling "The Lincolnshire Poacher"
and you will see what i mean..

I'd rather listen to monotone numbers than Terry Wogan any day!
