Another small problem to sort is the heated rear window.
Looks like the feed is going to ground somewhere?Keeps blowing the fuse.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram they can e-mail.

I've seen this problem a few times, check the wires in the rubber tube in the door shut sometimes the rubber goes brittle or a hole appears or possibly its come away at one end and is letting one or more wires ground or short.
You should also check as soon as possible if you get it working that most of the heating elements are working, If you loose too many they can sometimes burn out as the more you loose the more current goes through whats left.

Not so, each element will only take what current it demands according to it's resistance. When an element goes open circuit the total draw from the battery reduces as the remaining elements continue to draw exactly the same current as they did before. 'Tis simple Ohms Law :D
