just wondering how hard it is to change to door striker plate over to the anti burst jobbie? do i need to drill anymore holes or does it just slot in where the series ones went?
cheers
-
Well this months LRW shows you how to fit Series doors to a 90, so I presume they work in reverse. didn't have to drill anything either.
-
got series doors on my 90

fitting series doors on my 90

Got 90 doors on my series. Cant remember fully, but we did have to do some drilling.
-
cheers for the quick replies, should have worded it a little better.. i am swapping the 90 doors over to my series and series to the 90..90 has the anti burst locks, series has the old door latch type..
-
in which case u ned to drill 2 new holes on the series i think to make them fit as they are ush button off the 90
-
Got defender tops on series bottoms  :?
-
trying to get a less drafty series...not i said LESS drafty rather than draft free..plus i have 90 doors sat on my 90...which is sat next to my series..soooooooo....

I got 90 doors on my series, you have to drill a couple of holes but nothing major! makes a big difference to the draught and cold problem.
It was great fun when I first insured it, the woman on the phone did'nt know what to say when I told her it had "90 doors"

dont suppose anyone has pics of what has to be drilled???
and those doors look a damn sight better than the ones im fitting, then again going to be matt black so not a problem ;)
-
had a quick once over today, looks as though its just a case of measuring up the door striker plate and re drilling in the correct place, think the series ones are slightly lower.....
-
well, if its dry tomorrow, and my backs up to it i may well 'dryfit' one of the doors and see what problems i come across..may well have a good look at the screen as well see if something can be fabricated to move it on to the series..
