Title: HERTS, you can't beat the Elephant and castle area for pub grub and drink!

just that, elephant and castle great country pub, loads of charachter and then there is a little bit of offroad driving to get to whitwell for other real country pubs. summer is grat outside garden but winter is cosy with 2 log fires. just to let you know
