Title: off road tyres

want some offroad tyres that will fit a standard rangie
what is the biggest you can fit without moding the body or susspension
was looking at colway mt remoulds as its only for laning and pay and play sites

get some colway remoulds, 235/70/16 is a good size.  If you have a local hi-q tyreservices near you then its about £200 for 4 fitted.

I use the colway MT's on mine and cant fault them, whatever you do though, stear clear of Bronco, just do a search for the Bronco Tyre Report on here for a reason why!

Without a lift you will get 235/70 on the standard rim withou catching the bodywork.  On a wider offset these will just catch the front skirt on full lock, I fastened the skirt to the bumper corners to give a bit of extra clearance.

I've run 7.50r16 SATs with effectively standard suspension without problems, doesn't leave much room in the wheel archs though and needed steering stops adjusting. The extra height under the diffs compared to the 225/75r16 i was running is worth it if you try following defenders through ruts.
