Should it be cemented on or put on dry :?

P.S. the replacement gasket is of the none re-torque type if that makes a differance

you should put the headgasket on dry as far as i know, every headgasket i have itted as been done like that.

Though there is 2 types of gasket, cant remember the details of it at the mo though.

Just found a little piece on the book,
"If a copper-asbestos gasket is being used, smear clean engine oil on the cylinder block and cylinder head gasket joint faces"
Just to confuse matters
