Title: Fitting Defender Wing,
Post by: 300TDi Disco on September 23, 2009, 22:22:59
Well as a few of you know, I had a little incident at the birthday bash a required a new wing afterwards. Well I managed to get a wing today and i have tried to get it fitted. I cant get the old wing off as it is attached to the inner arch. The new wing hasnt got the inner arch attached so do i have a later type wing??? Is it going to fit my 1985 defender???

Regards

take the old wing off the inner arch. if you run your hand up the seam of the wing there are some bolts. undo these and it pops off!

Whats wrong with a few battle scars or tree dents!

IIRC didnt the tree dent bend the wing enough so that the person behind the car could see the front wing indicators going? lol
