I read on another forum you can get insured alot cheaper with a EU company using the VIN and green card.

Anyone confirm this or tell me how it works?

I got a green card from my insurer that covered europe etc when i went to Scandinavia.  Cost next to nowt.  Just ring them up and give them the dates and where You are going.

with nfu you automatically get a green card for european travel, i rang them the day before we went to france cos i forgot

lucky they did though :)

im with sainsburys now cos its a bit cheaper but not checked on europe travel

still not got a green card for my trip
a flux dont issue them but will give me a covering letter stating which countries im coverd for :cry:
