Title: Wolf Wheels

can i fit a wolf rim on my standard 110 without fitting longer studs?

I was under that impression, I know they are a little thicker but if you normally have some thread stuck out on your 110 then all should be well.

We have dispensation to fit Wolf rims on 110's.  But the studs don't even come "proud" with the wheel nut, I don't like it  :-k 

They also have a metal plate affixed, like so:

Aren't the studs on later models longer anyway? I have older 80's 110 here and the modular wheels that it came with the stud under cuts the nut face by a few mm, when those wheels are fitted on my '96 110 the studs protrude fine. BTW the older vehicle used to run around on wolf rims during expedition trips aboard and abused in UK's pay and play sites for many years and never had issue with the under sized studs -- even so... I personally wouldn't be happy.
