Am looking at a pre-registered 56 plate td4 adventurer (3 door) for just under £14k. How much would this have cost new prior to the new model coming out? I can't decide if it is a good buy or not.
Any help and/or suggestions?
Thanks

About £19k so yes it is probably a good buy

You'd have bought it new for about £ 15k un registered if you shopped around.... I'd wager at that price the stealer still has £1,000 across it!
Phone a big city dealer... they are bound to have registered loads of cars this week for end of year targets! tell them you can buy one for £ 13500 and see what happens... what you got to lose?

If you can do a good deal and intend to keep the motor for a while e.g. 5yrs+, then overall, it will be a good deal - depreciation will hit it hard initially, especially with Freelander2 now on sale; but in a couple of years time, the worst of the dreaded depn will be over on a lower purchase price.
