storage in rear disco
defuzz:
My only concern with these things is access to rear light cluster bulbs. Its not easy to get to at the best of times, does the fitting of one of these make it even harder?
I'm tempted to take my rear chairs out completely, some of the bolts aren't fitted so their not safe to sit in, might be better to just keep them in the shed unitl I sell it some day and put them back in.
On the other hand they're good for just sitting in the back of the landy when camping etc
My current plan is something like this:
secure storage on the left under one of the chairs.
locakable drawer on the right, space for stuff next to it. Above the drawer, space for a plastic lidded "curver" type box.[/img]

That looks good my draw is all removable so it would all come out if wanting to carry any thing large. :D

To answer your other question, if it's like the RRC (what do you mean 'if') then there are 2 bolts going through brackets at the rear of the chassis, just outside the main rails, that bolt through into the bumper. If the car is more than a couple of years old you could also try tying 2 large dogs to the bumper and offering them a biscuit each (the bumpers are held on by a promise, don't ever use one for recovery). the plastic things just fall off at some point whilst you're not looking.
Happy swearing

I have a drawer from Mobile Storage Systems - they were not cheap but they are extreemly high quality - after two years of abuse the draw still runs smoothly as when it arrived. Sorry I can't find the web link but their phone number is 01842 860441.
