tyres

(1/1)

hobbit:
Been looking round this series I'm putting on the road, I though the tyres were big, Dunlop RV Radial Rovers  265/75x16

Bit wider than the 7.50s on the other 88.

And the prices are too, might have to get a couple, looking at the damage on the sidewalls on the fronts, Dunno which way to go, lets see what happens on the mot next week first

Jim-Willy:
They look too wide, i'd fit 7.50's or cos of the extended arches 235/75, i've got them on the 90 and they look the mutts nuts.  My uncle has a mint s3 on 6.50's, he spoilt it with wide radials with white writing on the sidewall, philistine!!!!!!!!!!!

hobbit:
Yes I know, my lightweight has 7.50 Guyanes, and the other 88 has 7.50 firestones, I call them town and country tyres

but I have a set of 15" falkens on the yard so might drop them on instead

No!!!!!!!! 7.50 is the ultimate tyre for a leafer.  Falkens 15", oh no.  Keep the 7.50's you know it makes sense.  I  think the uncle has falken at's, they look s**** (depending on size obviously).

hobbit:
The falkens are wide ones, MTs, need to be used starting to crack now and plenty of meat on them still, I'll see what happens next week
