mse:
No an 85amp hr deep cycle battery! :D

Bulli:
http://www.optimabatteries.com/publish/optima/americas0/en/config/brand.html
and the exide backs it up, The battery you've fitted is ideal for running auxilliary items but wont last long with prolonged winching.I've killed a couple of leisure batterys- so although the optima/exide are stupid money they dont pop and wont leak or spill.
There is a reason the optima is a little bigger......

mse:
Im not going to use it for winching - although the guy i got it off said it will take it if i wanted to as it is a deep cycle battery.

Plus its only £28 for 85amp hr - i could replace it several times for a gel battery

I still have some space for a larger batter in that gap though

datalas:
I would look at some strategy for strapping the battery down btw ...

other than that, looks good.

Bulli:
the Exide uses the standard battery restraint which isnt too clear from the piccy..the optima is fastened with 2 monster zip ties and wont budge at all....i keep spares as they are great for temporary repairs.
