thermidorthelobster:
By the way Nev, if you're at Heathrow, I'm only 25 minutes away if you want to borrow my spring compressors - I also have a decent jack and axle stands if you need them :)

Thanks chaps for all that lovely advise! I have to answer a few questions new pro-comp springs and shox to go on! however 2 of the springs are very slightly smaller in height? so i guess they are the back ones?
i had the front turrets off about six months ago so they should'nt be too much trouble!
i have'nt got any roll bars fitted
but i need to know if i have to adjust any thing on the steering rod system?
nev.....
driftwood:
i only had a 1.5" lift at the front, i tried it and didnt need to alter my steering as it didnt show signs of pulling etc, maybe i should have done or not i don't know?

the smaller ones are for the front - not sure whether this applies to a disco but on a defender they vary in height between each side as well by a few mm to compensate for fat drivers and derv tank!
I didnt adjust the steering rod
thermidorthelobster:
Smaller diameter steel on the front, smaller in height on the non-driver side. Er, as per my post :)
