I had an MG Montego Turbo once, nice car, blinkin fast, fastest production saloon until Ford brought the Sierra Codswallop out!! No good for trying to steer on a wet road though!! Remember hitting a severe hump back bridge at 85mph once, managed to launch, came crashing back down, tough suspension on them Montego's, made out of angle iron.

But this is THE MG to be in nowadays..............

The non turbo 2.0 didn't steer too well either. Basically they were a load of c***.

I had a MG Montego - New
a MG Maestro - New
a MG Metro Turbo, also new and a pile of sh*t, it has a new set of valve guides, then a new head, then a new engine. a new gearbox - twice, new carpets, new windscreen  and various other minor bits.
a MG Metro - one of the first, also new and the best.
and 2 more 2nd hand MG Metros for Lynn.

The I got a life and brought a new Citreon BX diesel.  :lol:

Nowt wrong with BX's!! I had a 16 valve and a turbo diesel, also a petrol Xantia and a turbo diesel one, then I saw the light and switched to Land Rover, been broke ever since.................................
