Local Smiths has 3 for 2 on OS maps. Perhaps yours does too.

Must be country wide, while in skegie last week the local smiths had the same offer on :) very handy.

My only concern is how up to date the maps are. The ones locally had copyright 1999 but I'm not sure how important that is.

Still a good buy though.

OS are in the process of updating all the maps with the new right to roam markings and the latest RoW information.   The process has been happening since before Christmas, so they will have done most of them by now.

They should have a date on them somewhere to show how up to date they are.

That's what I thought might be the case. Then again I guess OS maps are never really up to date although the nice lady at Shropshire CC suggested if I wanted to know about the ROW there I should just buy an OS map. In fairness my enquiry was about a bunch of lanes they had reclassified as bridleways some years ago.
