boot leak?

hi all.....i have been very busy welding up my disco.....lots of man hours have gone in to her so far.... the question i have is after thinking i had almost finished i decided to lift the carpet in the boot..... :shock: ....i wish i hadnt bothered now. the whole back end of the floor has gone....
as you can see i have made a start in making the area good. what i want to try and find out is where the rear end normally leaks from to try and solve this. looks like it has been leaking for years. im just going to make up a floor for now as a temp measure for the MOT . is there a comon place to look for a leak in the boot.? any help would be brilliant

Mostly from the Alpine lights or rear door seal or the rear windows.

Mine was the sunroofs. Both of them.

so it is a common sight then............... gonna weld it up for now and get the ticket......i will then cut it out completly and put a new floor in..... :wink:
