lift kit fitted, but not sure about roll bar spacing
J B:
hiya,
i fitted a 2" lift kit to my disco today, ive put 1.5" spacers on the rear anti roll bar, but not sure about the front??
there seems to loads of clearance between the bar and the prop shaft when on level ground, not sure about any articulation yet
whats your thoughts??????

got some ramps, run it up one wheel at a time to see what happens. if they twist, take them off, i did.

You need spacers, I had a nice shiny little circle round my old prop. If you fit Qt arms (you will want to, trust me) then it's a no-brainer.
Budgie:
I took both front & rear anti-roll bars off mine and didn't really noticed the difference to be honest.
If you don't space it now then you stand the chance of it flipping the balljoints over on full articulation.
As RRB says, if you fit the caster correction radius arms at a later stage then you'll have to either space or remove the front one anyway cos it'll touch the propshaft on flat ground!
Bulli:
I never had anti rollbars mine being a 92 model but you would definately benefit by getting castor corrected radius arms. Without them your steering will feel more wooley than it should.
I bypassed this by fitting a 3 link to mine..can change the angle to suit propshafts and steering geometry.
