Which tyre size? Road use mainly, off road later....

got the same as you V8/lpg. Ive gone to 245 Colway AT's and they are great on the M1 and fine in the sticky stuff. Buy from Directtyres less than £40 each!!!

i run 235/70s BFG MTs, great on the road and off. gearing etc is unaffected as is the mpg.

Have put off the new tyres for the moment, as I have bought a S/H set of alloys, with part worn 205's which will do for a few months.
Got them for a fair price too, £150 for some genuine Land Rover Freestyle alloys, the charcoal centred ones.  The last set I was watching went for over £400  :shock:  :shock:   They aren't new but look good nonetheless. 8)

Ive just bought a set of BFGoodrich All Terrains (235/70 R 16) from http://www.selectatyre.co.uk for £349 inc vat, fitting, everything.  Well impressed so far, although in its past life the front bumper did get a knock on both sides and I think its rubbing on the end caps now  :(

Does that sound like a excuse to get a winch bumper ?  (please forward postive replies to the Mrs)  :lol:
