bit of a gearbox worry

<< < (2/2)

thermidorthelobster:
My TD5 does it from first to second.  It's a bit annoying but it's still around many gearbox oilchanges later.  It did it from when I first had it at 36,000 miles.  I think it's standard R380 behaviour.

landroverkeith:
Mine does it same as others only intermitant seems to be only if trying to rush the gear change but long as take it easy it slides in nice n easy lol

Range Rover Blues:
If it's under warranty I'd tell them about it, then at least you have it on record if the probllem gets worse.

suggs:
ive done a gear oil change, and had it checked over by my local landie garage, ive been dealing with them for years they said its normal, its very slight and if you change gear smoothly it dosent do it, i also changed the spigot that the gearstick ball sits in.

Cheers
