had the disco 5 days, verdict, so far

J B:
well as you may know, i picked up the disco last friday night

its had an interesting few days with me, saturday we took it up to bristol on a family day visit, no nothing fell off, and it made it back as well, though i did notice the top intercooler hose had a split in it, the only symtem of this was a wisteling when on full throttle, and it was still quicker than the paj

the nxt day it was on car boot duty, so folded the seats down and loaded it to the roof liner with junk, half of which came back

and on the monday it was used a removal truck for my bro. in law

so its got the name disco donkey at the moment:lol:

in between times iv been tidying it up, removing stickers i didnt want, and removing the tow bar and side steps, i also fitted a dash board repair kit i got for £40 which made a nice job, as 300tdi's suffer from pealy dash

ive also been deciding what exactly i going to do mods wise

so far ive ordered:

2" lift kit
8x15 black modular wheels

i'm intentending to fit my goodyear 32" tyres to it, so i will need to cut the wheel arches out and fit aftermarket arch extensions

so all in all i'm happy with it, its gonna be interesting whatever

the paj is still running fine, and will be sold if not here then localy

ta jon
