Not in the market for one of these, but I was chatting to a bloke in the pub tonight and he's going into making these.

He said for mine one would be approx £280 quid. Now not knowing to much about them I wondered if this was a good price  :?:

I thought they were mainly designed for V8 petrol vehicles rather than Diesel systems  :?:

He also mentioned that they would have a free flow mid box  :?:

Anyone on here clued up on this subject and would my diesel Discovery benefit from having one fitted, what could I expect  :?:

Sounds cheap to me, S/S exhaust are made for d.....ls Andy :D

Have been looking at doing mine, most of what I've seen on forums has said that, S/s systems by the main suppliers aren't that good, meaning they are not made of very good quality and soon lose thier colour.

I have a centre/rear section which is surposed to be S/S, but has rusted/discoloured quite badly. will have a look for the info I found as soon as I can mate.
Cheers.

Yes sounds good at that price, my local guy who made up the extension piece for my disco reckons around £450 for a complete system for a 200 tdi :?

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

I see right sounds a good price then.

I know quite well really, so I'll keep it mind for the future. To be honest it's something I've never considered buying.

For some reason I thought they were more suited to the V8 market  :?:

Anyway cheers for the comments.

The Rimmer Bros system for a 200 Disco is £310 including Vat

So, whilst it is cheaper, it isn't a massive bargain.   :(

£280 fitted, does the RB price include VAT and postage then you have to fit it.

Still cheaper, but like I say it's top of the list but definatley a thought for the future.
