Removing lower part of bumper ???

(1/2) > >>

BurgerKing:
Will I be able to remove the lower part of my bumper to show all the bits and bobs behind there, and soon a steering guard in it's place. Or do i have to buy a new bumper ????????

gords:
It's reasonably easy :)

The lower valance has a number of fixings (screws, bolts, can't remember!). Once you've removed the central valance, you'll need to trim the end caps. As you've got a 300 (?) there should be a visible "line" that lines up with the bottom of the bumper. Careful use of a jigsaw will have your endcaps trimmed in a few minutes! And that's it :D

Have a look at my pictures http://members.mud-club.com/profiles/gords/gallery/bumper_trim to give you an idea of what it'll look like.

Hightower:
Speak to Colin009, he's an expert at removing front valances . . . .
