Proof if it were needed that Stoke is pointless!

Proof that Franz Ferdinand are just so yesterday's band - Stoke youth in his early teens seen slouching along wearing a 'sharp' suit and an enormous quif.
Proof that there is no sense in Stoke : having recovered from the shock of the vision described above i see someone in the hairdressing trade has a sense of humour - there's a hairdressers in Stoke called "Mingas". No comment.

Consider this the start of a thread detailing the inanities and pointlessness of modern life - tell us about daftness round your way.

methinks that you have! Though full marks for knowing that Franz Ferdinand are frae north of the border - extra marks if you thought Glasgow.
The point is that they are past it if herberts in stoke are imitating them.

The actual point of the post is that i'm interested in those little nuances of modern life that make you raise an eye-brow and think [Edited] or why.
