Diesel Leak :(
BurgerKing:
I noticed yesterday that I could smell diesel from around my DISCO. Parked up at work and I've got a leak from the back end. Looked underneath and it's on the right hand side as you look from the back. Not actually coming from the main pipe that fills the tank up, but more higher and behind the back off side wheel. Are my year (1994 L reg) prone for any sort of leaks around the back end, or is it just one of those things ??
Cheers

fesuvious:
I think the fuel lines run down by the chassis from there.
Could just be a jubilee clip or a frayed pipe.
As long as its not the tank itself it shouldnt be too costly or time consuming
BurgerKing:
It does'nt look like the tank. Thinking now, it's on the right hand side on the outside of the chassis. Touch wood it should be ok. Are tanks a lot of £££.
hobbit:
If there are any steel pipes around there might be rusted through, give it a good clean up to see if its that, or like has already been mentioned a broken clip
BurgerKing:
Took it down to my m8's garage, got it up on ramps. Looks like the 2 top steel pipes are badly rusted. So it looks like the tank out job and replace pipes with copper or flexy fuel line. All depends whats going to be for the best........More money ££££
I get very dishartend when things go wrong with my Disco. :x
Never mind :?
