I think what Ed is trying to do is let other members know what has been going on. The point is that their actions have not been discussed in any way, privately or in the open.

Mud-club is one of the few places where we can stay in contact with other Birty members who may be wondering where we have gone! We understand that MC cannot be seen to be taking sides, all we ask is for a certain amount of free speech.

Thrasher:
Perhaps a simple message along the lines of :

"We are here, if you want to know what's happened to us, simply send us a PM" :-)

That way you can stay in touch and let each other know what's happened.
