Hi guys I'm looking at buying a series 3 that's rod the corner from me but the chap is not sure on what he wants last year he wanted 1200 when it was working now it has no mot won't start up, brakes are stuck on, had a poor green paint job Over the old blue one, chassis has loads of surface rust but can't see any holes, what would u guys value or be looking to purchase this at thanks for help guys

morson4x4:
We came to negotiations and said £900 and I said I'll have a think what you reckon guys

Range Rover Blues:
Not an expert but buy on condition.  The brakes can be fixed and probably need as much effort as money, the paint can be sorted in the body is ok, but is that chassis solid? why has it been off the road?

Does it start and move? if it's solid and runs then it's worth a bit of effort but weigh that against the cost of repairs and the eventual value, it's usually better to pick up someone else's project after they've spent the money.

He only used it to go fishing as he works in London all week and travels back to wiltshire for weekend as family here it was tax and ticket earlier this year chassis solid only surface rust, panels straight he never off roader it hat battery was flat he said that when it parked up the spark plugs were braking down hence no start it appeals to me that it's been looked after and not abused but it's still a slight gamble but on other hand is it better to have seen it then get one off ebay that turns out it's not even a Land Rover lol, he didn know much about it as he joying it was a series 2 and had to point out the differences for him as he was origanally valuing it on a 2a

morson4x4:
Oh and the bulk head it solid no rust
