Electrical problems with the defender's lights.
« on: April 30, 2013, 17:17:21 »
Hi all,
I've been on this all day!
Nearside rear light goes on as normal with the side lights.
Nearside brake light goes on as normal when the brake pedal is pressed.....
BUT have the sidelights on and press the brake pedal and they both go off!
(none of the other lights are affected)
I've just rewired the power supply to the side lights from a seperate power source and it's still happeneing.
I'm thinking poor earth somewhere on the brake circuit or maybe the whole chassis is not earthed well.
Any pointers from you wire experts???
Thanks for any help.
