What's wrong?
gords:
There hasn't yet been a rush of people wanting to buy my tyres  and I was wondering why :-k
Am I asking too much? Do the wheels need to be included? Is there no second hand market for Colways? Is this forum a bad place to sell?
Any sensible opinions and/or options? Keeping them as a road set isn't really viable, as I have nowhere the store them :(
Also, does anyone know of either a supplier of Colway/Greenway/Technic tyres in the South-East, or a place that will fit tyres for less than £15 a wheel?
muddyweb:
I don't think the forum is an especially bad place to sell, it's not as if we don't have a lot of visitors here !
A bundle with wheels will always be more appealing since most people don't have the facilities to mount tyres themselves, and that adds to the cost.
If all else fails, stick them on eBay... you will certainly sell them on there.
gords:
Getting the tyres fitted is the problem I face - my local workshop/garage will do it for £15 per wheel, which adds quite a chunk!
Obviously, if I sell the wheels and tyres, I will then need to buy new wheels ... £40 for black modulars!? 8-spokes are cheaper, but I'm not sure I like the look...
muddyweb:
£15 quid a wheel does seem like a lot, especially as a percentage of the cost of the tyres !
I used to do them with tyre levers back in the bad old days... but that is for the special people ;-)
dracula:
Don't forget, the cost of P+P to remote parts of country might put potential
buyers off.
