3 Chimes on starting

Hi all, anaother issue with my 03 XS auto Discovery, on switching on all the warning lights come on and go out as per the book, on starting the enging i get 3 chimes but no warning lights does anybody know what this is for.

Is your hill decent control button pressed in?

mudskipper2006:
No the hill decent control button is not pressed in, all warning lights come on then go out, mainly does it when engine cold, there are no warning lights on when it chimes, never had it happen on any of my other Discovery's.

Thrasher:
If the temperature is below 4 degrees it might be the 'ice warning' - I know the RR does this (but also tells you on the dash).

There is no issue with your Disco it is a ABS/HD/TC system check, this was a known thing back when these were new,

It s one of those annoying things that you cannot do anything about, but the good news is there is nothing wrong.
