Fitting 31" muds

I'd like to fit 31's to my disco 300tdi 3dr. What exactly needs to be done?

Usually it needs a 2inch lift and some arch timing.

really. Dont want to cut it about really. How big can i go with out?

Without mods 245/70/16 is about as big as most go. The issue seems to be how tired the springs are as to what clears.

rhino-force:
Pretty sure mine has had springs replaced as there a different colour. I know it's had de carbon shocks and steering damper. What are de carbon shocks by the way?
