Headlights stuck on
« on: January 13, 2013, 16:34:16 »
Ok so after changing the bulkhead on my 1986 landy the headlights are always on when the battery is connected no matter which position the switch is in, I am led to believe that the dim/dip transistor is at fault and that if it is disconnected the lighting circuit should work as normal. However when I disconnect the transistor on my landy the headlights will not work at all but the sidelights still work. Has anybody come across this before ?

Hi and welcome

As well as what you mention i would also check the main column switch too as they can be temperamental.
