How much of a saving on fuel if any were i to fit FWH? im aware that a supposed benifit is less wear on diff/shafts etc but are they a worthwhile investment ?

One reads enough posts from folk replacing them with fixed hubs to wonder if they are worth it. I know when I had my maverick and it destroyed its auto hubs, I did not really notice any decrease in mpg.
