As long as you keep it clean it should provide slighty (and it is very marginal) better performance as they allow more airflow compared to a normal style filter as found in the air box.

my viper induction kit is coupled up to a south downs snorkel.... i should have said that earlier i think! lol sorry!

Thanks Matty but I understand when people speak english  I mean I understood some of what you wrote but I am but a simple person (ask the wife) but I will go with getting an exterior filter though..
