bench vice

Hi all. Another product I need advice on. My vice is an adjustable rabone chesterman but it will neither lock at one angle nor does it grip too tight no matter how tight I wind it. Are record vices any good.

Ive had one a number of years bought from MM not had any probs its spins around and grips tight but its not like the older ones not sure it would stand up to farm work ,sounds to me as though you need to get to a few farm type sales where you could pick such things for a descent price ,

Believe me when I say farm sales very rarely have bargains and the majority of the stuff is worn out. Will have a look in machine mart see what they have.
