Rear Tub on 90 corner bits

(1/1)

Big G:
Hello Brothers,

Just wondering how difficult is it to replace the rear corner cappings on my truckcab. The bit that the brake lights screw on to. Got some scabby areas around the light lenses.

Any body know what the process would be to replace these, if possible.

Thankeeeee!

Axetamer:
I ripped part of the corner capping away while offroading, I just drilled the rivets out, straightened out the bent bits the best I could and then rivetted it back on, I used very slightly bigger diameter rivets and had to make a few new holes where the panel no longer aligned due to the panel stretching a bit with the dent....if its a cosmetic job it should be easier I would think.......I'd get some galvanised ones if I was going to be keeping it

Big G:
Thanks for that Mr Tamer.

Looking at it I wasnt sure if I would have to take of the tub capping as the corner bits seem to just lip under it. Spos I should just get the drill out and drill the rivets out and see eh?
