bravo669:
hi all, my friend has an R reg freelander 1.8 petrol,
the previous owner took out the prop thus converting it to permanant 2wd,
my friend wants to put it back to 4wd and needs a prop to do it,
ive had a look, there is nothing between front and back axles.

any pointers or help greatly appreciated.

LandRoger:
Best thing you can do with a Freebie is SCRAP IT! :evil:and buy a 90 if cant afford one then get a ZUK !!

wizard:
Usually the prop is removed if the IRD or Viscous Coupling seize. 9 times out of 10 the IRD packs up and that willl kill the Viscous Coupling.

If your make wants to get his Freelander back to speck he will need a front prop,Viscous Coupling, rear prop and a new or reconed IRD

Hopefully this link will give you more info
