Wheel Nut Wheel spacer question
« on: October 08, 2011, 20:20:28 »
Hi I have just got some second hand 30mm ali wheel spacers for my defender but some of the nuts are missing to fix it to my hubs.
Question is, the thread is the same as normal Landy studs but the wheel nuts I have kicking around are all 27 mm and I need 23 or 24 mm to leave me room for a socket. Are series wheel nuts smaller external dimensions than Defenders or classic Range Rover?
I hope that makes sense?   :undecided:

are you using a thick walled impact socket? if the spacer are not taking the standard nuts then to me that's alarm bells.
