SurreyZuke:
Cheers simon,

Yeah the guide on that site is the one i looked at before. One problem is that my 'tool set' is a mish-mash of hybid bits and bobs my family has cobbled together. Then altered to suit another purpose.

Therefore sods law states I never have the correct tools for the job.

The other problem is my back problems just don't allow me to crawl around under cars for very long any more. (blame cyclo-cross. Wrapping yourself around trees isn't good).

I'll see what the second quote comes in at and decide what to do then.

Thanks for the suggestions tho.  :cheesy:

were abouts are you m8y??

SurreyZuke:
I'm in Surrey.

The second quote came in at a more reasonable 'about 300 quid'.

TBH I'll prob go with that jst to save me swearing lots, getting [!Expletive Deleted!] off, throwing my dolly out of my pram and end up breaking something.  :cheesy:

Cheers

SurreyZuke:
All done.

He found a couple more bits whilst he was in there and did them as well.

450 quid total inc kit, fitting, oil seals and fitting, and oil flush and change.

Then I stalled it twice manovering out of the car park 'cos the bitting point is so different.  :embarrassed:
