P38 Over heating and pressurizing

BigBlueBeast:
Hi all. I would appreciate some help ASAP on this one please. We have a P38, 1996 4.6 V8 LPG converted. It started to overheat yesterday after we turned the cars heaters on. The temperature rocketed up and all the system was highly pressurised. I released the pressure and was left with a little coolant. (the rest was on the floor) I have topped it up, bled the system and it is still doing it....

When idling, the temp is fine, the pressure is fine, even when sitting at 3000 revs

when driving, the temp looks fine, but the pressure goes up within 3 miles.

When all coolant gone, engine overheats.

Can anyone help me with this, I am meant to be going to Leeds on Sunday.

Many thanks.

Hi, I have had the thermostat out, tested with kettle water and it opens. It is now just annoying the hell out of me. I have had the rad off and flushed it out, all seems fine and I cannot see any leaks of water in it. Does anyone want to come and have a look????
