Stop it, you're making me :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: blush :D
Thanks for that, it makes it all worthwhile;
The mileage, the getting wet, the eating in wonderful little 'out of the way' cafes, the sodding punctures, the trips over the Moors, etc.....
It's an Olympus C-350ZOOM
Sadly it's been dropped inumerable times & the battery cover doesn't always make contact, so I can sometimes miss a shot as I try to persuade it to make contact.
That's the main one, but I sometimes use an Olympus D-575ZOOM as well

:D Cheers for the camera link, its about time i got a decent camera... :lol:
OH and your efforts are much appreciated. Some places there ive never heard of. :D
Also thanks to you i or we, have got a new campsite to goto inthe Lakes i.e Park Cliffe. Had a look at there website looks good. :D
Bush Tucker Man:
Park-Cliffe is very nice, but if you're taking a caravan (or trailer) go from the southern approach.
DO NOT even attempt from the northern direction.
From the north, it was an 'other side of the road & full lock turn' even for the father-in-law in his Focus :shock:
I could cut the corner slightly in the Discovery, but it was still very tight

Such as?, I may be able to enlighten you about them :D
Bush Tucker Man:
Now THIS is a nice site, with stunning views over Derwent Water.
It is located here, it's the one with the caravan & tent symbol
......... Which is handy for this museum (well worth the visit)
Stars (for me) include;
General Lee (a genuine studio car)
Mad Max 1 Interceptor
FAB 1 (yes, the full sized one :shock: )
BatMobile (TV car & they've got the movie cars)
Donald Campbells memorial & grave are roughly here
The Campbell/Villa memorial is at the junction of Tilberthwaite & Ruskin, the grave is to the north of Tilberthwaite (over the unmarked white road)
The lakeside stone is at the bottom of Lake Road, next to the BlueBird Cafe.
That's just in case, like me, you still marvel at the mans bravery
