D4 Commercial - 245 BHP version!

Needless to say, the D4 only goes off road with a trailer on the back in order to indulge daughter's horse obsession...  The 300Tdi is still fulfilling the off-road needs!
Discovery 300 Tdi - 2" lift, side exit exhaust, HD bumpers, T-Maxx 9500, removable tow hitch, snorkel and 235/85's

Discovery 4 Commercial - very standard but very nice!

Well, haven't got the new one yet but my Disco is going to a new owner tomorrow. I got fed up with the way something seemed to fall off every time I drove it, also the fact that it just wasn't reliable enough for longer journeys. I could just see it turning into a constant money pit from now onwards, so decided to get out now while it's still saleable.

Next car will be a Subaru Forester Turbo (99-02, can't afford newer and prefer the earlier shape anyway). Most of the lanes I actually like around here aren't that extreme, so a Forester should cope perfectly well with them. They don't like deep water, big holes or deep ruts, but I've never been terribly keen on any of those either! It should actually be very handy with side slopes and cramped spaces as it's smaller with a lower centre of gravity than a Disco. Going to look at one this weekend...
