cv joint

The near offside cv joint was replaced on monday,but im still experiencing
a lot of vibration going round corners.Is this the wheel bearings or maybe
something more expensive?
  Your opinions are most welcome before i go back to the garage.

Have you checked the swivle housing bearing preload?

Jack a front wheel, grab the tyre at the 12 & 6 o'clock positions and try to move the top in & bottom out several times to feel any movement. Better to get someone else to have a look at the swivle seal, it's easier to see!
Check both sides!  :wink:

It could be a loose wheel bearing or trackrod balljoint.

checked for crud lodged on the inside of the rims?

i had this prob on the way back from an event and i swear the world felt liek it was going to end

Thank you for your comments,my Disco goes in for its M.O.Ton weds so im a bit apprehensive about what the examiner will find, they seem to have a downer on 4x4 vehicles.Ah well such is life in the city.

When your CV joint was done were the wheel bearings replaced or at the least regreased?
Were the locknuts tightened up correctly?

Another couple of pointers maybe  :wink:
